At Cataloochee Ski Area, our culture is built on friendliness, teamwork, and a passion for the mountain lifestyle. From first-time skiers to seasoned passholders, every guest deserves an unforgettable experience, and it all starts with our Guest Services team.
We’re looking for both Full-Time and Part-Time enthusiastic Guest Services Representatives for the 2025–2026 winter season who know how to create positive first impressions, deliver excellent customer service, and keep the mountain vibes welcoming from sunrise to the last chair.
What You’ll Do:
Be the first point of contact for guests — welcoming them with warmth, professionalism, and knowledge.
Assist with lift tickets, passes, and general resort information.
Solve problems with creativity and care, ensuring every guest leaves happy.
Work alongside other mountain departments to keep things running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For:
Outgoing, friendly personalities who love working with people.
Strong communication and multitasking skills.
Confidence using computers/POS systems (training provided).
Reliability, positivity, and a can-do attitude — especially on weekends and holidays.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and peak season days.
Position Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be willing and able to work a varied schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Must be able to hear and speak clearly for radio and telephone communication.
Must be able to move comfortably and quickly throughout the resort.
Must be able to stand for long periods.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
A criminal background check will be conducted after the position is accepted, in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Season Dates: Mid-November through early April (weather dependent).
