A PeopleSoft Finance Techno-Functional Consultant with PTF (PeopleSoft Test Framework) experience will develop and execute automated tests for PeopleSoft Financials applications, ensuring the quality of customizations, enhancements, and reports. They will also be involved in system integration and regression testing, working closely with business and quality assurance teams to gather requirements and resolve issues. According to online job postings, this role often requires experience in PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 and Tools 8.6x, as well as proficiency in various PeopleSoft development tools and methodologies.Key Responsibilities:PTF Script Development:Creating and maintaining automated test scripts using PeopleSoft Test Framework for various PeopleSoft Financials modules, including GL, AP, AR, Billing, Purchasing, and Asset Management.Testing:Executing tests (unit, system integration, regression) in the QA environment and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Troubleshooting:Investigating and resolving issues identified during testing or in production, often involving complex SQL queries or web services integrations.Requirements Gathering:Working with business analysts and functional teams to understand requirements for new features, enhancements, or customizations.System Integration:Integrating PeopleSoft with other systems using technologies like Integration Broker, web services, and APIs.Reporting:Developing and maintaining nVision, PS Query, and BI Publisher reports.Collaboration:Working with developers, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.Knowledge Management:Training and mentoring team members on PTF and other PeopleSoft technologies.Project Support:Contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and implementation.Required Skills:PeopleSoft FSCM:Strong experience with PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) 9.2, including modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Purchasing, and Asset Management.PeopleTools:In-depth knowledge of PeopleTools (8.6x or higher), including Application Engine, PeopleCode, Application Packages, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, and AWE.PTF:Proven experience in developing and executing automated tests using PeopleSoft Test Framework.SQL:Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing data, especially for troubleshooting and data validation.Integration:Experience with integrating PeopleSoft with other systems through Integration Broker, web services, or APIs.Testing Methodologies:Experience with various testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and regression testing.Communication:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
