About Our Client

This second-generation, family-owned general contractor has been serving the Baltimore Metropolitan Area for over 60 years. With annual revenue approaching $90M and a strong backlog, they specialize in higher education, K-12, senior living, non-profit, office, and multifamily projects. Their work includes new construction, large-scale renovations, and adaptive reuse projects, consistently delivering quality and value for clients.

Job Description

As the Estimator, you will manage all aspects of preconstruction and estimating for new construction and renovation projects ranging from $20M-$70M+. Responsibilities include preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing drawings and specifications, coordinating with subcontractors, and presenting bids to leadership and clients. The Successful Applicant

Experience: 7-10 years in estimating/preconstruction (minimum 5 years), with at least 3 years at a construction general contractor.

Background: Mix of new construction and renovation experience across sectors such as multifamily, K-12, higher education, and office.

Skills: Strong analytical and communication abilities, proficiency in estimating software, and comfort in client-facing roles.

Attributes: Detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to take ownership of the estimating function.
