Position Description
Torque by Ryder is looking for a skilled Mobile Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team. This is a Permanent Full-Time position to support our fleet of heavy-duty trucks.
This role offers competitive compensation and benefits, including weekly pay and a flexible 40-hour work schedule. Work weekends may come with additional pay incentives.
- Pay Range: $30.00 - $34.50 per hour, depending on experience

As a Mobile Diesel Mechanic, you will deliver excellence in maintenance and repair while cultivating strong relationships with our clients. The successful candidate should be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with technical certifications being advantageous
- Proven hands-on mechanic skills, preferably with 2+ years of experience in diesel engine repair
- Basic tools required
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred
- Must pass Ryder Drug Test, DOT physical, and background checks
Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
- Provide exemplary customer service and resolve repair issues
- Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests
- Document repair orders using company systems
- Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
This position will involve frequent travel to customer locations. We encourage you to apply if you possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
