Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing complex technology projects within the DT Business System Technology department for a Randstad client in Washington, D.C. This role is responsible for ensuring projects adhere to budget and timeline through the use of various project management tools and methodologies, including SAFe and PLMP. Working with multiple Agile teams, matrixed stakeholders, and external vendors, the Senior Project Manager will coordinate efforts to maintain high-quality project standards, including scheduling, risk management, and quality assurance, utilizing tools like EPPM, SharePoint, TEAMS, JIRA, and Confluence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with technical leads and project teams to gather information for project reporting.
• Develop and maintain project documentation in line with FRA, PLMP, and SAFe guidelines.
• Produce weekly status reports on program progress.
• Lead project status meetings and other relevant discussions.
• Manage reporting on project budget, risks, issues, and schedules using Masterworks EPPM.
• Track and report on schedule and budget variances.
• Set up and maintain SharePoint and TEAMS project sites for each project.
• Ensure quality in project schedules, baselines, and estimates, and report any variances.
• Perform ongoing risk assessments and mitigation activities for each project.
• Document and report issues and changes using standardized templates and processes.
• Create Statements of Work (SOW) for RFPs and evaluate vendor responses as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Finance, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders, advocating for departmental interests.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Proficient communicator and writer, capable of tailoring messages to varied audiences.
• Experience with project management tools such as EPPM and JIRA.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS).
