MedStar Health is excited to welcome a Physical Therapist to our dynamic team The ideal candidate will be a licensed physical therapist with a strong foundation in various evaluation and treatment methodologies, paired with exceptional customer service skills to engage with patients and their families from diverse backgrounds.
As a Physical Therapist, you will provide comprehensive therapy services, which include assessing patients, creating personalized treatment plans, and making necessary adjustments as progress is monitored. You will also contribute to program planning and protocol development, ensuring patient goals are met effectively.

Primary Duties:-
Conduct thorough evaluations, reviewing relevant historical data, performing specific assessments, and formulating recommendations. Clearly communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies to patients and their families, actively involving them in setting achievable goals.
Demonstrate expertise in implementing treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs, and consult with healthcare professionals as necessary. Be vigilant in recognizing changes in patient conditions to adjust the care plan promptly.
Handle discharge planning and post-care follow-up with precision. Maintain accurate and timely documentation that reflects the patient's care journey, including initial evaluations, treatment plans, daily notes, progress summaries, and discharge assessments.
Manage your time effectively to meet productivity benchmarks, ensuring a well-organized schedule. Display a strong commitment to facilitating patient access to care through flexibility and empathy in a consumer-focused environment.
Proactively seek continuing education opportunities for personal and organizational growth. Serve as a mentor to students and new staff, aiding in their orientation and development.

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure as required for your specific practice locations.
American Heart Association's BLS (Basic Life Support) certification for Healthcare Providers.
This position has a hiring range of: USD $74,214.00 - USD $134,596.00 /Yr.
