Food Service Utility Worker – Help Us Keep Our School Kitchen Sparkling

Do you take pride in keeping things clean, organized, and running smoothly? Our school nutrition team is looking for a dependable Food Service Utility Worker to help us maintain a safe, spotless kitchen and support meal service for students every day.

What You’ll Do:

  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

  • Clean and sanitize prep areas, counters, and floors

  • Take out trash and keep storage areas tidy

  • Assist with receiving and organizing food deliveries

  • Support the kitchen team with basic prep tasks when needed

    You’re a Great Fit If You:

  • Enjoy being active and on your feet throughout the day

  • Have previous food service or janitorial experience (a plus, not required)

Pay rate: $16.50

Requirements

Education:High School or GEDCertifications:Food Handling certification preferred but not requiredOther Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:Speak and read English• Some experience helpful• Be able to lift 40 pounds or morePHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB:• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Monday thru Friday 9am - 1pm. Follows schools schedule.
