A growing healthcare services network in Connecticut is actively seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing Urgent Care team in Fairfield County. This role offers a flexible schedule with opportunities to support new and existing standalone urgent care facilities.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: at least 3 shifts per week, including weekends
- Hours: 8-hour shifts (Weekdays) or 12-hour shifts (Weekends)
- Setting: Standalone urgent care facilities
- Patient Load: 30-35 patients per shift
Responsibilities:
- Delivering urgent care services to a diverse patient population
- Performing basic urgent care procedures independently
- Providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborating with on-site clinical teams to ensure smooth operations
- Adapting to different urgent care locations based on patient and staffing needs
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in an Urgent Care setting
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Strong ability to work independently in a standalone facility
- Experience managing high patient volumes efficiently
- Proficiency in performing common urgent care procedures
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
