We are looking for a dedicated Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to become a vital member of our Primary Care team. At Optum, you will not only enhance the care experience for patients but also enjoy a supportive environment that promotes work-life balance and professional growth.
Position Highlights:
- Outpatient Primary Care setting with an average of 15-18 patients per day, utilizing flexible 15/30 or 20/40 minute visit structures.
- Opportunity to specialize in either Family Medicine or Internal Medicine populations.
- Work alongside a collegial team of providers, including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and advanced practitioners.
- Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with a 4-day work week for full-time positions.
- Receive support from Advanced Practice Clinicians (PA/NP) and AI Scribes.
- Located near the Canadian border and San Juan Islands, with convenient access to shops, restaurants, and a variety of outdoor activities.
- Onsite services including Lab, Asthma, and Allergy specialty.
- Light call responsibilities shared among providers, with Triage RN call support.
- Residents who will graduate in 2025 and 2026 are encouraged to apply.

Required Qualifications:
- Unrestricted WA state license or ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Current DEA certificate required prior to start date.
- BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required before starting.
The salary range for this position is between $226,000 and $366,000 annually, with compensation based on factors such as experience, education, and performance metrics. Alongside a competitive salary, we offer comprehensive benefits, recognition programs, stock purchase options, and 401k contributions.
