Role Responsibilities: Our Clinical Technologists provide essential clinical and administrative support for effective patient care under the supervision of healthcare providers. They ensure exceptional patient service and maintain a compassionate environment while rapidly responding to patients' needs.
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake.
- Triage patients while checking vitals, performing blood draws, and administering injections.
- Monitor patients, charting and reporting any changes in their conditions, and take necessary actions.
- Assist with lab tests and phlebotomy.
- Support providers in preparing for minor procedures and physicals.
- Maintain supplies and equipment for treatment.
- Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner.
- Assist with arranging referrals to specialists and obtaining necessary pre-authorizations.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere and promote a respectful culture.
- Complete administrative tasks such as checking in patients and verifying insurance eligibility.
- Support telehealth interactions by preparing patient charts and following up on patient needs.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, EMT, or Paramedic, preferably in a clinic setting.
- A current CPR license and any required X-Ray Technologist state licenses.
