The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs to verify product specifications.
- Document inspection results accurately, maintaining detailed records and generating quality reports.
- Identify, isolate, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate containment actions.
- Assist in root cause analysis for quality issues and support the implementation of corrective actions.
- Conduct product and process audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and manufacturing procedures.
- Support the calibration and maintenance of inspection, measurement, and test equipment.
- High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality control principles.
- Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document quality findings accurately.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
- Experience with CMM programming or advanced vision inspection systems
- Previous experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace)
