Financial Analyst - HYBRID - Richmond, VA
Full-Time | Direct Hire | High-Impact Role

As part of the finance team, you'll work across multiple departments, bringing data-driven insights that support long-term planning, operational efficiency, and organizational growth. If you enjoy turning complex data into actionable strategies, this is the role for you.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with various departments to support long-term strategic planning and financial forecasting
- Build and maintain financial models to track business performance and support key decisions
- Develop and deliver presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders
- Analyze company KPIs, market trends, and competitive benchmarks to identify opportunities for improvement
- Conduct frequent ad hoc analyses across departments (finance, operations, marketing, pricing, etc.)
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance reporting, efficiency, and profitability
- Assist in documenting and refining financial processes and business workflows
- Provide insights that contribute directly to company-wide initiatives and improvements
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field
- 1-5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance ideally
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas)
- Experience with Power BI
- Familiarity with SQL, Access, or other database tools for large data set analysis
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and drive process improvements
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey insights to both finance and non-finance teams

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
