Your Role: As a Surgical Technologist, you will make a crucial difference in the operating room every day. Your attention to detail, ability to adapt in high-pressure situations, and dedication to patient care are invaluable. Join us in our mission to help people live well

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a clean and safe surgical environment by utilizing aseptic techniques.
  • Prepare materials, supplies, and equipment for various surgical procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining a sterile field and anticipate surgeons' needs during operations.
  • Transport patients and equipment while maintaining safety protocols.
  • Conduct environmental disinfection and safety checks in the operating room.
  • Support the team as necessary and notify staff of any equipment or supply issues.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of care specific to a wide range of patient ages and needs.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 6 months of hire.
  • Education: Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Experience: No prior experience required.
  • Skills: Knowledge of surgical techniques, excellent interpersonal skills, and basic computer proficiency.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry materials as necessary.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
  • Exposure to various hazards including mechanical, electrical, and chemical.
  • Willingness to wear protective gear including masks, gloves, and goggles during shifts.

Other Details:

  • Full-time evening shifts, with on-call responsibilities (primarily overnight).
  • Sign-on bonuses available: $10,000 for distance-based relocation and $2,000 for PM shifts.
