Hospice Volunteer - Cuyahoga County and surrounding areas
  • Hospice volunteers who work directly with patients, caregivers, and families are considered direct care volunteers.
  • Hospice volunteers who send card to patients.
  • Hospice volunteers who provide phone calls to patients
Qualifications:
  • Availability of time and skills which pertain to the volunteer activity
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and take directions well.
  • Empathetic listening skills
  • Ability to understand and tolerate hardship stories.
Time Commitment:
  • Time commitment relative to the volunteer activity- a minimum of two hours per month.
