As a Fabricator Level I, your responsibilities will include:

  • Selecting dies, tools, and punches for various material thicknesses
  • Forming materials using radius dies according to specifications
  • Installing and aligning a variety of punches and dies for varied operations
  • Conducting preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment functionality
  • Performing inspections of first pieces and in-progress work for quality assurance
  • Adjusting equipment settings for efficient operation
  • Monitoring equipment conditions and reporting maintenance needs
  • Maintaining a safe and organized work environment
  • Using resources wisely to achieve production goals
  • Training peers on fabrication tasks when necessary
  • Documenting production and quality metrics accurately

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Can read and interpret basic to moderately complex technical drawings
  • Are skilled in safely operating fabrication machinery
  • Have experience with hand and power tools
  • Possess basic computer skills
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Can understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English
  • Ideally, have up to one year of experience in a metal fabrication role

The physical requirements of this role include:

  • Medium to heavy physical activity
  • Lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally with assistance
  • Lifting up to 40 pounds frequently
  • Carrying up to 40 pounds occasionally
  • Frequent pushing/pulling of up to 40 pounds
  • Continuous standing and walking
  • Frequent bending and stooping
