Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team in Waterford, United States. In this role, you will have a significant impact on improving patients' mobility, managing pain, and enhancing their overall quality of life.   • Evaluate patients' physical conditions and create personalized treatment plans
  • Implement hands-on therapy techniques and guide patients through therapeutic exercises
  • Educate patients and their families on proper movement techniques and home exercise programs
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record systems
  • Monitor and assess progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
  • Provide emotional support and motivation throughout the recovery journey
  • Stay current on the latest physical therapy techniques and best practices
  • Participate in team meetings, contributing to the continuous improvement of patient care
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and safety standards

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Program
  • Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the United States
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
  • 2-3 years of outpatient experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of functional exercise techniques and manual therapy skills
  • Excellent patient care and communication abilities
  • Ability to multitask and manage a diverse caseload effectively
  • A passion for physical therapy and a genuine commitment to patient care
  • Outgoing and energetic personality with a positive attitude
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Current CPR certification
  • Knowledge of current physical therapy techniques and evidence-based practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
  • Empathetic approach to patient care with strong interpersonal skills

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000. Salary will depend on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. This role is also eligible for discretionary incentive compensation, with the company's incentive plan subject to change. A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k), as well as paid time off, is available, subject to the company's plan terms.
