We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Sensor Electronics Engineer to join our team, with the flexibility to work from Cambridge or remotely. This role involves designing, developing, and testing advanced analog electronics across various applications, including analog front ends, signal conditioning, analog-to-digital conversion, and more. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop circuit architectures, perform simulations, and verify designs for precision instrumentation and feedback systems.
  • Create innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges, adapting to evolving requirements.
  • Optimize systems for reduced size, weight, and power without compromising performance.
  • Lead the development of new products by drafting detailed technical specifications and overseeing production processes.
  • Analyze hardware configurations, ensuring compliance with established specifications.
  • Engage in business development and proposal activities to drive project success.
  • Manage technical risks at the program/system level and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with leadership and clients.
  • Mentor junior engineers, sharing best practices and technical expertise.
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and printed circuit board layout design.
  • Experience with circuit simulation tools such as Spice.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in system modeling using MATLAB or Simulink.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and solve complex problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • 5-10 years of professional experience in electrical engineering or a related area.
  • Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
