Pay: $43.70 - $61.17 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:

Join our dynamic team as a Cardiovascular Sonographer. In this role, you will perform routine and emergency echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds in an outpatient setting, as well as at the patient’s bedside when necessary. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team and enhance patient care through your expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds, acting as a subject matter expert to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac and vascular procedures while analyzing imaging results to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Educate patients about procedures, ensuring their understanding and cooperation during the process.
  • Continuously monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to any changes.
  • Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and perform quality control checks.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and decisive judgment while working effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited diagnostic medical sonography, cardiac sonography or vascular technology program.
  • 1 adult echo and 1 vascular credential.
  • A minimum of 2 years related experience.
  • Active ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), and Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) or Vascular Technologist (RVT).
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, valid through at least sixty days from hire date.
