Position: General Warehouse / Forklift Operator
Location: Maryland Heights, MO 63043
Schedule: 1st Shift - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18 per hour
Job Summary:
Responsible for general warehouse duties including receiving, storing, and shipping materials. Operates forklifts to move products safely and efficiently within the warehouse, supporting smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments.
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down and/or stand-up) to move materials and pallets.
- Load and unload trucks and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Keep work area clean and organized to meet safety and operational standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
- Report any equipment or safety issues promptly to supervisors.
- Valid forklift certification and demonstrated experience operating forklifts.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work on feet for extended periods.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to work 1st shift hours consistently (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM).
