Optometry Technician - Mobile Vision Clinic

Join a mission-driven team bringing free eye exams and glasses to communities across Clark County. We're looking for a bilingual Optometry Technician to support our mobile vision events 1-5 days per month, with hours expected to increase as the program expands.

What You'll Do

• Conduct pre-testing and preliminary exams, including visual acuity and eye health assessments
• Assist the optometrist during patient exams
• Manage patient intake, histories, and documentation in electronic health records
• Help with frame selection, lens options, and contact lens education
• Support event setup, patient flow, and front desk activities
• Maintain clean, organized exam areas and equipment

What You Need

• Previous experience in optometry, ophthalmology, or a medical office preferred
• Knowledge of basic eye anatomy and medical terminology
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Reliable transportation and comfort working in community or outreach settings

Pay

• Competitive per-diem, 1099 contractor
