The Ford Recall Technician reports to the Service Manager.

The job description for a Ford Recall Technician typically includes the following responsibilities:
  • Managing and coordinating vehicle recall processes: This involves identifying affected vehicles, notifying customers, and ensuring timely repairs are completed.
  • Reviewing recall bulletins: Technicians must review recall bulletins to understand the specific recalls and their implications.
  • Communicating with service technicians: Technicians work closely with service technicians to ensure that necessary repairs or replacements are completed according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Updating recall status in tracking systems: Technicians are responsible for updating the recall status in tracking systems to keep all parties informed.
  • Collaborating with customer service and parts departments: This interaction is crucial for addressing customer concerns and facilitating parts availability.
