I. Job Summary

As a Tire Maintenance Technician, you will maintain and repair tires, ensuring compliance with WM's Total Tire Maintenance (TTM) Program and all applicable guidelines.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure tire maintenance meets WM Total Tire Maintenance standards.
  • Manage the site TTM plan effectively.
  • Document repairs, parts usage, and time efficiently.
  • Conduct reviews and analysis of out-of-service tires.
  • Perform or coordinate road calls as required.
  • Inspect scrap and obsolete tires.
  • Evaluate failed tires for warranty eligibility.
  • Assess the quality of retreads and repairs.
  • Complete tire checks on company vehicles as needed.
  • Maintain thorough tire records.
  • Monitor supplier servicing standards.
  • Conduct fleet surveys.
  • Maintain a clean, safe workspace in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
  • Adhere to established safety procedures during all tasks.

This position requires work both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to various weather conditions, including heat and humidity.
