About the Role

The Director, Analytics leads the advancement, implementation, and optimization of business intelligence and analytics across AssetMark. This role manages the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of analytical solutions, self-service platforms, and enterprise reporting frameworks. As a key partner to business stakeholders and technology teams, the Director champions data-driven decision making and ensures that analytics initiatives align with business goals.

We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to our Phoenix, AZ office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business intelligence (BI) teams delivering analytical solutions across multiple functions.
  • Design and develop complex analytical solutions including dashboards, reports, and scalable self-service analytics.
  • Govern enterprise reporting standards and business metrics definitions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Build strategic partnerships with business stakeholders to define and prioritize analytical requirements and development efforts.
  • Oversee the implementation of modern BI platforms and drive adoption of self-service analytics capabilities within the organization.
  • Establish BI competency centers, train business users, and guide best practices in analytics.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and architects to optimize data models and ensure efficient query performance.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior BI professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 8+ years in analytics, BI, reporting, or data science roles, with at least 3 years leading analytical teams or projects in enterprise environments.
  • Proven track record in developing, launching, and maintaining advanced analytical solutions and BI platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in analytics/BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL) and self-service analytics frameworks.
  • Strong partnering, communication, and stakeholder management skills across business and technology functions.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $145,000-$161,000.

This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
