About the Role:

We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Laborer. This position plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of our recycling facility. Laborers are responsible for general labor tasks such as cleaning, moving materials, performing basic maintenance, and ensuring the work environment remains safe and organized. The ideal candidate is hard-working, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in an active industrial setting.

Responsibilities:

• Support heavy equipment operators with daily site tasks
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Direct vehicle and equipment traffic as needed
• Perform random load checks and report findings
• Stay in regular communication with the scale house
• May assist with landscaping, weed control, and general cleanup
• Sort materials and pick up debris to keep the site tidy
• Take on other duties as needed to support the team

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• State issued, valid driver's license may be required
• One year minimum experience in a heavy industrial setting or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Contribute to the team dynamic by promoting inclusion, support, and collaboration amongst coworkers

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Basic awareness of federal, state, and local job site health and safety rules, regulations, and best practices
• Proactively establish trust and credibility with coworkers by maintaining accountability
• Take initiative, self-manage time and productivity through multitasking

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; and outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Hours can range from Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5pm, including weekends, with some variations per business demands
