Otolaryngologist (ENT Surgeon) - Acclaim Health / JPS Health Network

Job Summary:

Acclaim Health is seeking a skilled ENTSurgeon to provide expert evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, andconsultation for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Thisposition includes educating patients on preventative care, performing physicalexams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and serving as a primaryhealthcare provider. The ENT Surgeon will also participate in teaching,research, and multidisciplinary collaboration to advance clinical care andeducation.

This role focuses on Emergency and Trauma otolaryngology, providingspecialized care for head and neck injuries while maintaining the higheststandards of patient care. Flexible scheduling is available to supplementfull-time staff during high-volume periods, vacation coverage, and on-callresponsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emergency ENT consultations and procedures for trauma patients with head and neck injuries
  • Evaluate and treat acute otolaryngologic conditions, including airway emergencies, facial trauma, and complex ear/sinus infections
  • Perform emergency surgical procedures including tracheostomies, control of epistaxis, drainage of deep neck infections, and facial laceration repairs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary trauma teams including emergency medicine, trauma surgery, and critical care
  • Participate in trauma activation as needed
  • Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in the electronic medical record
  • Maintain availability for on-call shifts as agreed upon
  • Work alongside 2 experienced NP/PAs to assist in clinic and OR

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:
• Current Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine.
• Residency and/or Fellowship training within Otolaryngology.

Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:
• Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Texas.
• Board Certification or Board Eligible.
