As a Quick Service Restaurant Associate, you will play a vital role in helping our restaurant teams deliver an exceptional experience to our guests. If you are high energy and enjoy working alongside others, this role is perfect for you You will greet guests with warmth, maintain a clean and organized location, and ensure that our guests have a fast and enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet all guests warmly to ensure they feel valued and welcomed.
2. Maintain cleanliness throughout the inside and outside of the location, including ensuring the food prep area is spotless and the restrooms are immaculate.
3. Involve yourself in some food preparation and food service tasks.
4. Keep paper supplies replenished in the food service area and restrooms as necessary.
5. Assist with implementing company processes to ensure a consistent guest experience.
6. Make safety a primary focus within the store.
7. Efficiently and accurately ring up guest transactions at the register.
8. Perform other duties as directed by the Store Manager or shift leader.
9. Ability to fulfill essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Working Relationships: Team Members, Shift Leaders, Assistant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, District Manager, Brand Manager, and various Corporate personnel and vendors.

Food Handlers certification where required.

Scheduling:

This is a part-time position that involves flexible working hours, including day and night shifts, as our locations may operate 24 hours. Weekend and holiday hours are necessary. You will only be scheduled in double coverage (or greater).

Hours & Conditions: Part-time (up to 28 hours)

Travel: None

Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds. Standing, walking, bending, reaching, and twisting are required throughout the shift. The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate.

Other: Specific attire is required as mandated by brand partners in food establishments, including slip-resistant footwear. It is the team member's responsibility to obtain any required work permits or related documentation to provide to their supervisor upon hire.

Work Restrictions:

Throughout the year:

• Restricted from using ovens and walk-in freezers (except in KS & IL if 16 or older).
• Prohibited from using ladders.
• Cannot operate power-driven meat/food processing or bakery machines.
• Copies of working papers must be available on-site, and all terminated paperwork must be submitted to HR (where relevant by individual state statutes).
• Cannot work more than 6 days in a week.
• Must have a minimum of 8 hours between the end of one shift and the start of the next.
• The length of scheduled shifts should comply with state minimum hour regulations.
• May work up to 28 hours per week.

During the School Year:

• May only work 4 hours daily and cannot work during school hours (generally 7 am - 3 pm) or past 10 pm.

Outside of the School Year (Summer and breaks):

• May work up to 6 hours daily.
• Must receive a meal period for every 4 hours worked (Log required in some states).
