Senior IT Project Manager

A growing low-voltage company is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to join its expanding Projects & Solutions Team.
This role will lead client-facing IT and low-voltage technology projects from presales discovery through final delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of technical design, can translate solutions into executable plans, and excels at managing multiple projects while keeping scope, timelines, and quality firmly on track.
Responsibilities:
- Lead full project lifecycles-from presales discovery and solution scoping through implementation, testing, and final delivery.
- Collaborate with engineers to design and refine technical solutions, including migrations, cloud deployments, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Translate technical designs into detailed project plans, timelines, task lists, deliverables, and implementation documentation (SOWs, diagrams, solution documents).
- Manage multiple concurrent projects by coordinating internal teams, vendors, schedules, risks, changes, and dependencies to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery.
- Strong understanding of IT fundamentals, including Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, security, and endpoint environments.
- Ability to interpret and work from technical designs, even when not directly engineering the solution.
- Excellent client communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities, deadlines, scope, and expectations.
- 4+ years of experience managing IT projects or leading technical implementations.
- Experience overseeing IT migrations and infrastructure projects (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, servers, networking).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Preferred: MSP experience, familiarity with ConnectWise Manage or similar PSA tools, experience contributing to technical SOWs or proposals, and PMP, CSM, or similar certifications.
