- Quantify and Narrate Cyber Risk Transform telemetry into a scorecard linking exposure to impact; partner with Legal and Compliance for audit readiness.
- Champion Enterprise Security Standards Define a clear business?aligned baseline for each operating company and inspire adoption.
- Enable Secure Solutions Define guardrails, reference architectures, and decision records for platform and application teams.
- Accelerate Next?Gen Threat Detection & Response Own the detection capability, partner with engineering, and lead the incident response playbook.
- Build Relationships Across the Business Work with CIOs and leaders to shape a shared responsibility culture; publish quarterly risk scorecards.
- Embed Security into the M&A Playbook Facilitate cyber due diligence, create a roadmap to recruit and grow top?tier cyber talent.
- 20+ years of progressive experience in technology and information security, at least 5 in a senior leadership role.
- Experience in consulting and understanding the fundamentals of engineering and construction business.
- Proven ability to lead cybersecurity in a federated enterprise, balancing central strategy with local autonomy.
- Track record of leading through influence in federated environments.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise security controls aligned to frameworks including ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, NERC CIP, and CMMC; translate into practical roadmaps.
- Demonstrated ability to quantify investment business cases.
- Hands?on M&A security experience leading cyber due diligence and post?close integration.
- Exceptional communication and relationship?building skills; influence through credibility.
- Collaborative mindset: look for ways to say yes, if rather than default to no.
- Experience building risk frameworks that bridge operations, cybersecurity, and executive oversight.
- Active certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are required.
