As our Dental Assistant Team Leader, you will not only provide outstanding chairside support but also take the helm in managing and enhancing the performance of the Dental Assistant team. Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional chairside assistance to dentists and hygienists during diverse procedures.
- Guide and mentor the Dental Assistant team, ensuring feedback and training opportunities are available for all team members.
- Oversee room preparation, enforce sterilization protocols, and ensure compliance with OSHA and CDC standards.
- Collaborate with studio leaders to enhance daily workflow and operational efficiency.
- Proactively anticipate and address the needs of patients, colleagues, and providers to maintain an effective patient-first environment.
- Assist in staffing, scheduling, and the onboarding of new team members.

Essential Qualifications:
- All required state certifications and licenses for dental assistants.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- 2-3 years of dental assisting experience, with leadership experience being a plus.
- Proven ability to coach and develop other dental assistants.
- Strong knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and practices in a modern dental studio.
- Commitment to full-time work availability (32-40 hours per week, including some Saturdays).
Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation, including:
- Standing and sitting for prolonged periods.
- Fine motor skills for precise instrument handling.
- Adequate vision to read charts and operate dental equipment.
- Ability to maintain proper ergonomic positions during patient care.
- Occasional lifting of supplies and equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Effective communication with patients and team members in-person and digitally.
