The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL), one of New England's leading animal welfare organizations, is seeking a Veterinarian to join our Community & Shelter Medicine team. We are searching for either a full-time or part-time veterinarian, with schedule options from 16 to 40 hours per week

By partnering with communities, we help animals heal and thrive, keep pets and people together, and protect animals from harm.

The Community & Shelter Medicine team provides medical and surgical care to animals in our three Animal Care and Adoption Centers (Boston, Dedham, and Brewster) as well as to animals and their families in the communities where they live through our mobile wellness and spay/neuter programs, the Wellness Waggin'® and Spay Waggin'®. We are a close-knit team practicing high-quality medicine every day.

What we offer:

  • Base salary starting at $118,000 per year for 40 hours-per-week (prorated for 16-32 hour schedules);

The shifts for this position vary in location. Our Community & Shelter Medicine Veterinarians work in all three ARL locations (Boston, Dedham, and Brewster) and on our mobile programs in locations across eastern Massachusetts.
