We are looking a Software Engineer to join our defense client in Sterling Heights, MI. The engineer in this role is going to be responsible for the design, architecture, development, and integration of complex military combat vehicle software-based systems.

Responsibilities in this role include:
- Developing vehicle software
o Software requirements analysis, derivation, decomposition, and management activities
o Research, simulate and analyze software solutions
o Perform trade studies
o Develop software requirements specifications. Algorithms, logic flow-charts/activity diagrams, leverage SysML Modeling and Simulation input
o Integration of military lethality, survivability and C5ISR systems
o Support of CPU, GPU, FPGA integration using design tools
- Component/Vehicle Test Support
o Understand and create test requirements
o Support Prototype development and test
o Support system-integration-lab (SIL) and hardware in the loop (HIL) activities
o Troubleshoot issues and perform corrective action

Compensation:
$54.00 - $59.00/hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
