Key Responsibilities
  • Build and lead the social media team from zero to a scalable, high-performing unit
  • Own and drive the full social roadmap-from daily content to quarterly campaigns
  • Create a streamlined creative operations system for content development, review, and publishing
  • Translate brand tone and voice into native content for IG, TikTok, X, Threads, Reddit, Discord, and emerging platforms
  • Develop influencer and UGC strategies that are authentic and community-driven
  • Identify, react to, and create cultural and social trends-quickly and strategically
  • Provide weekly performance reporting with context, insights, and recommendations
  • Collaborate with founders and creative teams to maintain a consistent and evolving brand voice

  • This role requires leadership, not a one-person production team
  • You will plan, manage, and delegate-not personally film, edit, coordinate, and produce everything
  • You must understand how to drive engagement, predict trends, and stay ahead of platform changes (including algorithm shifts and AI advancements)

  • A proven social or media strategist with a track record of scaling brands and building high-performance teams
  • A strong storyteller who understands narrative arc, emotional hooks, and cultural relevance
  • Deeply fluent in meme culture, platform behavior, audience psychology, and content momentum
  • Analytical and highly experimental-you test early, often, and aggressively
  • Experienced in pitching ideas and defending them with data, logic, and creativity
  • Driven by ownership and long-term impact more than day-one perks
  • Detail-oriented and quality-obsessed (thumbnails, captions, editing, copy, cropping-you care about all of it)
  • Equal parts creative and operational-systems and storytelling are both strengths
  • Exceptionally organized with the ability to manage and scale multiple workstreams
