Job Description
A leading defense industry distribution company is conducting a confidential search for a Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate to join its Milwaukee operations team. This role is at the heart of warehouse logistics-ensuring that products are received accurately, stored properly, and shipped on time to meet customer demands in a safety- and quality-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming products, inspect shipments for accuracy and damage, and properly store materials.
  • Pick, package, and prepare orders for shipment or customer pick-up.
  • Verify all shipping and receiving documentation to prevent inventory errors.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) after passing required operator exams.
  • Assist customers at the counter as needed and provide excellent service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for freight claims, returns, and inventory control.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED, or six months of warehouse experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • VantageClear Certification (or equivalent U.S. defense-industry compliance credential) required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
  • Effective communication, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must pass substance-abuse screening and powered equipment operator exam.
