We Can Ride is always looking for great volunteers like you to help us. You can help in equine-assisted activities (sometimes called therapeutic riding)and hippotherapy. If you are at least 18, you could also feed the horses; plus, we need volunteers to maintain the barn, and help at special events, fundraisers, committees, and office tasks.

Our lessons are 5-12 weeks long and go from January through mid-December. We have lessons six days a week, with the evening, daytime, and weekend times available.

You do not need to have any experience working with people with disabilities, special needs, or horses. We will give you all the training you need to do your role confidently. We follow current CDC COVID guidelines.

Are you looking to learn more about horses? We offer all our volunteers' training throughout the year to give back to you. It is a great way to learn more. Volunteer and community riding lessons are also available.
