Job Description:
  • The CADD/Engineering Systems Support Specialist will provide first-level and desk-side technical support for photogrammetric, raster, GIS, CADD, and engineering project management applications.
  • The role includes software configuration, troubleshooting, licensing support, and coordination with external vendors for problem resolution.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-level help desk and desk-side support for photogrammetric applications such as ImageStation Orthopro, Stereo Display, Feature Collection, DTM Collection, Digital Mensuration, Automatic Elevations, and Image Analyst.
  • Provide support for raster products such as Bentley Descartes.
  • Provide first-level support for CADD/engineering design software including ArcGIS, MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads, OpenRoads Bridge, InRoads Survey, OpenRoads Survey, and Bluebeam.
  • Provide first-level help desk support for engineering project management software such as Bentley ProjectWise.
  • Provide support for plotter software, server configurations, and integration with plot drivers and devices such as ProjectWise Interplot.
  • Maintain license pools for CADD and engineering software; coordinate with manufacturers for upgrades and issue resolution (e.g., Visual Lighting, Altiva, AutoCAD, Bentley, Bluebeam, Ensoft, ETAP, GeoCue, Global Mapper, Lusas, PTV, Sidra Solutions).
  • Provide GIS support including configuration and upgrades for products such as ESRI ArcGIS and Global Mapper.
  • Provide second-level support for Microsoft operating systems and general Microsoft Office applications.
  • Support CADD/engineering workstations, desktops, and laptops from manufacturers such as Lenovo, Client, and Dell, including peripheral devices like Client and Client printers and large-format plotters.
  • Perform troubleshooting, repair, and software configuration of associated applications, drivers, and BIOS software.
  • ssist with enterprise-level projects and administrative tasks, including workstation deployment planning and server specification input.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Bentley ProjectWise Administration.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with photogrammetric software installation and support.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Bentley MicroStation CADD Management in a networked environment.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting and managing CADD applications running on MicroStation (e.g., InRoads, Interplot).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting large-format plotters and scanners in a managed CADD environment.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in multi-application/vendor license management.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in project planning and management.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience installing and supporting Bluebeam software.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
Should Have:
  • Bentley certifications related to MicroStation, ProjectWise, OpenRoads, or CADD Management (preferred).
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
