Your Responsibilities
- Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering pertinent diagnostic tests, and developing customized care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions either independently or in collaboration with physicians (depending on your credentials)
- Empowering patients and families through education on prevention, wellness, and effective disease management
- Prescribing medication and implementing treatment plans in line with your practice scope
- Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care oversight

- Maintaining meticulous documentation within electronic health records (EHR)
- Master's in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the District of Columbia
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialization
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain them within 90 days)
