- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hrs/week (Mon-Fri)
This role is field-based, supporting NASA sites through reverse logistics operations, which includes retrieving, auditing, refurbishing, and redistributing telecom equipment. It combines technical hands-on work, logistics coordination, and documentation responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Field & Logistics
- Work on-site at NASA facilities to safely remove, package, and ship telecom equipment.
- Perform inventory data entry, part identification, and product configuration updates.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and maintain documentation.
- Support refurbishment and re-deployment of equipment.
- Book and coordinate travel for field assignments.
- Adhere to NASA and customer security and safety protocols.
- Follow health and safety practices in warehouse/field settings (including ESD handling).
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Contribute to team meetings and project planning.
- Provide weekly activity updates.
- Raise and manage change requests related to product configurations and packaging allocations.
- Submit weekly expense reports.
- 5+ years experience in telecom field work.
- Knowledge of inventory control & management systems.
- Proficiency with Google Docs and MS Office 365 (intermediate).
- Understanding of spreadsheets (basic).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Hands-on experience with electronics/telecom hardware.
- Experience in fast-paced environments with customer interaction.
