Your going to love being a Heart to Heart Hospice Volunteer Our volunteers make a positive difference in the lives of our patients and families. Volunteers provide companionship to patients and caregiver respite to their families.
Patients receiving hospice care enjoy the friendship of volunteers. Volunteers read to patients, hold their hands, listen to music, sing, watch TV, play games, share stories, or offer caregiver respite. Your companionship ensures that patients have quality at their end of life.
Orientation is short and arranged to fit your schedule. We have flexible hours, will write letters of recommendation, be a referral, and are willing to do a Non-Paid Internship.
With our flexible schedule, you can work as many hours as you are able/willing to volunteer.
Volunteer Requirements:
A desire to help others
Orientation Training at your own pace
Transportation to volunteer site
Background Check (free)
TB test (free)
