Preventative Maintenance Specialist

The PM Specialist is responsible for performing routine and repetitive maintenance and cleaning of production machinery and support equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining Coolant Systems:
- Removing scrap metal from coolant sumps.
- Filtering coolant to ensure cleanliness.
- Replacing coolant as needed.
- Cleaning and replacing coolant filters.
- Machine Cleaning:
- Thoroughly cleaning various types of production machinery.
- Air Quality Maintenance:
- Cleaning fans in production areas.
- Cleaning mist collectors on individual machines.
- Changing air conditioning filters throughout the plant on a regular schedule.
- Fire Suppression System Maintenance:
- Performing routine and ordinary preventive maintenance of automatic fire systems on machine tools.
- General Maintenance and Cleaning:
- Performing other routine and repetitive preventive maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed by supervisory staff.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work in a production environment.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
