Position Summary

As a vital member of our team, you will be the go-to resource for all recreation activities on the property. Engage with guests to provide information about our diverse recreation facilities, which may include pools, beaches, game rooms, fitness centers, and children’s activity zones. Your role is to encourage and register guests for recreation activities while promoting a fun and relaxing atmosphere.

In this position, you will:

  • Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facilities to ensure guest safety and welfare.
  • Observe recreational activities and respond appropriately in the event of an emergency.
  • Provide cashier services in facilities that involve point of sale transactions.
  • Assist in hosting private functions and group activities within the recreation facilities.
  • Identify any situations that may prevent guests from safely participating in activities and promptly inform supervisors.
  • Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies.
  • Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management and complete necessary safety training and certifications.

You will also be expected to:

  • Follow all company policies and procedures while ensuring a clean and professional appearance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, addressing their needs and providing genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally, using appropriate etiquette.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Process payments for rental equipment, activities, and facility rentals.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations.
  • Work comfortably in various physical environments, which may include standing, sitting, walking, lifting, and moving objects.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: No specific work experience required.

Supervisory Experience: None required.

Required Qualifications

Licenses or Certifications: CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, Recreation Equipment Certification, and any local or state-required certifications or training.
