SUMMARY:

The Clinical Practice Leader is a vital nursing professional responsible for providing clinical expertise, guiding staff mentoring and coaching, and facilitating patient flow within the practice.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leadership & Management: Collaborate with physicians, practice managers, and clinical leaders to ensure smooth daily operations. Address issues proactively; serve as a clinical resource for LPNs, MOAs, and clerical staff. Ensure adherence to patient rounding best practices, recognizing achievements, and providing constructive feedback when necessary. Participate in recruiting and onboarding new staff, following peer interview protocols.
  • Patient Care: Drive the success of practice goals by partnering with leadership to enhance patient satisfaction, staff morale, financial performance, and quality care aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Issue Resolution: Act swiftly to resolve concerns during patient rounds. Communicate effectively with lead physicians and nurse managers about any high-risk patients, ensuring their care plans are up-to-date.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's degree in nursing.
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse License.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.

EDUCATION:

AS: Nursing (Required)

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)
Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work: Frequently exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE: $79,560.00 - $109,200.00

The listed pay range represents potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant, subject to modifications and eligibility for additional pay components. Pay is influenced by experience, qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contractual obligations.
