Entry Level Continuous Improvement Specialist

What You'll Do
As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you'll help develop, implement, and sustain improvement initiatives across our Distribution Services operations. You'll partner closely with leaders, warehouse teams, and cross-functional departments to strengthen operational excellence and drive meaningful results.
You will:
- Lead continuous improvement projects to streamline warehouse and distribution processes.
- Analyze workflows, KPIs, and performance data to identify and prioritize opportunities.
- Support standardizing best practices and updating SOPs.
- Facilitate root-cause analysis, kaizen events, and other problem-solving activities.
- Partner with managers to implement improvements that stick.
- Provide coaching and training on Lean tools and performance management.
- Assist with documentation, visual management tools, and performance dashboards.
- Track outcomes to ensure Continuous Improvement initiatives deliver measurable results.
- Help enhance safety, quality, accuracy, and cycle-time performance.
You'll succeed in this role if you have:
- A related college degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer-facing skills (written, verbal, and phone).
- Solid computer aptitude, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the confidence to lead discussions and improvement efforts.
- A self-directed, professional work ethic and commitment to learning and development.
- The ability to track results, support continuous improvement programs, and listen effectively.
- Flexibility to support a multi-shift operation and lead by example.
- Primarily Monday-Friday, standard business hours.
- On-site role supporting distribution operations; occasional travel may be required.
- A collaborative environment focused on teamwork, improvement, and operational excellence.
