Responsibilities:

  • Provide electrical design and programming based on approved P&ID, collaborating with team members and management as needed.
  • Leverage solid technical knowledge of automation technologies, including sensors, controllers, actuators, and industrial networks.
  • Support the design, programming, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of high-speed centrifuges and automated manufacturing systems.
  • Understand and apply the principles of fluid power, electrical and mechanical technologies, and programmable logic controllers.
  • Develop problem-solving and troubleshooting skills through hands-on training on various automated systems.
  • Familiarize with diverse computer-based and electronically controlled systems in process and manufacturing environments.
  • Learn to program, assemble, install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify machine instrumentation and controls.
  • Measure voltage, current, and resistance in both single and three-phase AC and DC systems.
  • Apply mathematical concepts to calculate electrical power equations relevant to the maintenance field.
  • Familiarize with electrical control panel standards and safety regulations (UL 508A, NEC, NFPA).
  • Interpret and modify engineering drawings for electrical control panels and P&ID.
  • Be responsible for installation and technical support of PLC-based hardware and software.
  • Assist in training in-house and customer personnel on repair, installation, testing, and inspection of electromechanical equipment.
  • Provide electrical and controls support, including troubleshooting and modifications.
  • Maintain and update electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Contribute effectively in a team-based work environment.

Your Profile / Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent in Electro-Mechanical Technology.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant hands-on experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working with AC/DC systems and 3-phase power.
  • Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Familiar with control systems, process automation, and industrial networking.
  • Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% across the U.S. and Canada.

Compensation: The typical base pay range for this position is expected to be between $30 - $35/hour. Final offers are based on skill set, experience, location, and qualifications.
