The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Plainwell that are seeking Process Engineers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost, and quality.
- Design, implement, and monitor process improvements and new process introductions.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless process integration and project execution.
- Perform process capability studies and statistical process control (SPC) to maintain quality standards.
- Evaluate and recommend new equipment, technologies, or methodologies to enhance productivity and safety.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing process engineering role.
- Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, technical drawings, and process flow diagrams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R, Python)
- Experience with PLC/SCADA systems or industrial automation
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for process layouts or P&IDs
