Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Assisting in surgical procedures by effectively preparing and organizing the operating room
  • Upholding sterile fields and following rigorous infection control protocols
  • Handing instruments and essential supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants with precision
  • Preparing and managing surgical equipment for optimal performance during procedures
  • Monitoring inventories and ensuring readiness for every surgical operation
  • Collaborating seamlessly with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other surgical team members
  • Keeping meticulous records and maintaining accurate surgical counts
Educational Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
Necessary Certifications:
  • Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is essential
  • BLS certification (or the willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire)
Essential Skills and Attributes:
  • Deep familiarity with surgical instrumentation and procedures spanning multiple specialties
