Your Key Responsibilities

  • Safely load, transport, and offload CarMax vehicles using a company-assigned car hauler.
  • Ensure timely delivery of vehicles to maintain customer satisfaction and inventory flow.
  • Prioritize safety and efficiency by maintaining a clean and well-kept truck and trailer.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in line with DOT and CarMax standards.
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Represent CarMax professionally while interacting with vendors, store associates, and the public.

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid state-issued commercial driver's license Class A (CDL) is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years Class A CDL driving experience is necessary; military driving experience will be considered.
  • If you are a current CarMax Associate, you may qualify with 2+ years of experience with any Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV).
  • A clean driving record with no serious violations in the past three years.
  • Ability to meet all DOT and FMCSA qualification requirements.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy objects and maneuver transported vehicles.
  • Proficiency in operating a 10-speed transmission.
  • A willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong communication skills.
