About the Role
We’re seeking a compassionate, relationship-driven Community Relations Coordinator to grow our home-care agency’s presence across Montgomery County and nearby markets (Prince Georges and Howard). This position is ideal for someone who is organized, service-oriented, and energized by meeting new people—and who is hungry to achieve, humble in attitude, and smart in how they build relationships.
Day in the Life
Morning: Quick huddle with Director of Business Development to discuss plans and strategy for the day. Check in with referral partners. Visits to hospitals, rehab facilities, assisted living and independent living communities.
Afternoon: Follow up with yesterday’s contacts, log outreach in the CRM, and brainstorm new partnership opportunities with the Director of Business Development.
Weekly Highlight: Coordinate a small educational event that builds trust and attracts referrals. Host or attend a community lunch or senior-care event, bringing warmth and professionalism to every conversation.
Monday Morning: Weekly sales and marketing meeting
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain referral relationships with healthcare providers, senior living communities, and social workers.
Represent the agency at networking events, health fairs, and community meetings.
Track outreach activity in the CRM and report measurable results.
Collaborate with the Director of Business Development and intake team for seamless referral-to-client conversion.

Have 1+ year of experience in community outreach, marketing, sales, or social services (home care/healthcare a plus).

Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Work, Business, or a related field (Not required)
Familiarity with CRM systems or basic marketing tools.
