Job Description:

Typical Experience: 84+ months The NCDHHS Infrastructure Voice\AV SME is a senior level resource with specialized knowledge and experience in a the Voice\AV architectural design and implementation of new IT Infrastructure in a new DHHS campus.

1. Technical expertise centered around Voice (including but not limited to IP Telephony, Softphones, online collaboration (MS Teams, Webex)) and audio visual design, implementation, and architecture for an enterprise environment.

2. Specialization in Voice\AV environment for new building construction

3. Successful development and maintenance of formal strategies, sourcing guidance, technical standards, blueprints, reference architectures, architecture patterns and technology roadmaps for a given Voice\AV domain

4. Successful completion of technology projects within area of Voice\AV implementations.

5. Definition and management of team structure and resource levels to support business needs in a Voice\AV environment

6. Conducting industry and market research of technologies and general themes in assigned architecture areas.

7. Engaging agency subject matter experts, business liaisons, and DIT representatives as to ensure proper alignment between business and IT within Voice\AV discipline.

8. Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team to accomplish design and implementation objectives for new infrastructure environments.

Must be able to identify and communicate Voice (Ip and other types) and A\V needs for new infrastructure in new building(s)
