The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for providing radiologic films as directed by the physician and maintaining radiology equipment and supplies. This position will be full-time. You must have an associate's degree in radiology or a related field from an accredited program. Candidates must be able to ease patients into the process of taking an x-ray and be able to explain each phase of the procedure. It is also very important to keep the imaging room clean and maintain all privacy regulations. ARRT certification and a CRT license are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic (pain management) equipment to produce diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Review and assess images for quality and completeness.
- Collaborate with physicians to provide high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education.
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- Current state license (CRT) and ARRT certification
- Proven experience in a clinical radiology setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Typical Physical Demands
Position requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, as well as manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Involves standing and walking. Employee will occasionally be asked to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds, as well as help lift patients onto the x-ray table. Normal visual acuity and hearing are required. Employee will work under stressful conditions and work irregular hours. Employee will be exposed to bodily fluids on a regular basis.
Typical Working Conditions
Employee will have frequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a clinical environment.
