Journeyman HVAC/Refrigeration: The expected salary range is $33.92/hr to $41.46/hr, contingent upon experience, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package including bonuses and a 401(k).

Sr. Journeyman HVAC/Refrigeration: The expected salary range is $39.01 to $47.75, contingent upon experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k).

Primary Purpose of the Position

This role involves performing a diverse range of HVAC and refrigeration services for commercial clients while also promoting additional services.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

• Install, maintain, and repair intricate HVAC and refrigeration systems, including advanced air conditioning and heating equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues with HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure peak performance and efficiency.
• Conduct thorough maintenance and inspections to prevent system failures and comply with safety and industry guidelines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for accurate layout and installation.
• Maintain precise records of work completed, including detailed service reports and inventory control.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to deliver exceptional service.
• Collaborate with colleagues to execute projects efficiently and effectively.

Minimum Qualifications for Journeyman HVAC/Refrigeration

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and repair.
• All required state licensing.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC refrigeration systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Leadership skills to mentor colleagues.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A valid state driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.

Minimum Qualifications for Sr. Journeyman HVAC/Refrigeration

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and repair.
• State Journeyman HVAC license.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC refrigeration systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Effective teamwork and independent work capabilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent critical thinking and leadership abilities.
• A valid state driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of a technical school or apprenticeship program is preferred.
